1. Protect the Patient and Maintain Ventilation

9. Perform Final Functional Verification
Repeat the complete required system or pre-use check using the appropriate manufacturer documentation.
Confirm normal startup, ventilation using suitable test equipment, alarm operation, displayed measurements, gas delivery, and accessory recognition as applicable.
Expected outcome: The ventilator completes the required checks successfully and operates normally. Document the results and return the device to service only when all required verification passes.
If the Problem Persists
