1. Protect the Patient and Maintain Ventilation
Do not troubleshoot a Savina 300 that is providing unreliable ventilation while a patient depends on it. Transfer the patient to another verified ventilator or approved ventilation method before troubleshooting.
Inspect for smoke, unusual odor, excessive heat, fluid intrusion, or obvious physical damage. If any are present, disconnect AC power when safe and remove the ventilator from service.

3. Verify AC Power

4. Check Power Cord and External Connections

6. Inspect Controls for Stuck or Damaged Inputs
Inspect the rotary control, buttons, touchscreen or touch-sensitive controls, and front-panel surfaces for damage, contamination, moisture, or a control that appears continuously activated.
Do not disassemble the control panel.
