1. Ensure Patient Safety First

2. Confirm the Exact Startup Failure

If the Problem Persists
If the IntelliVue X3 continues to restart, freeze, remain on the startup screen, or fail its startup self-test after external power, battery, dock, accessories, and basic interface conditions have been ruled out, the failure is likely internal or software-related.
The device should be:
- Removed from service.
- Labeled Out of Service.
- Sent for bench evaluation or authorized Philips repair.
