1. Protect the Patient and Maintain Imaging Availability

Inspect the Lumify transducer and mobile device for obvious damage, contamination, fluid intrusion, excessive heat, or a visibly damaged connector.

8. Check for Intermittent Detection
With the transducer recognized and not being used on a patient, observe the connection during normal positioning of the cable and mobile device.

9. Perform Final Functional Verification

10. Escalate an Unresolved Detection Failure

Following repair, verify transducer recognition, connection stability, imaging performance, and any required return-to-service checks before clinical use. Knowing when to stop external troubleshooting and escalate is proper troubleshooting.
