Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
1. Protect Processing and Confirm the Detection Problem
Do not process a load if the washer cannot reliably recognize or connect to the required rack, manifold, or cart.
Confirm whether:
- The washer refuses to start
- The rack is physically seated but not recognized
- Detection is intermittent
- Only one rack is affected
- A water-manifold connection does not engage

2. Verify the Correct Rack or Cart Is Being Used
Confirm the rack, manifold, or cart is appropriate for the washer and intended cycle.
Do not modify or force incompatible accessories into position.

3. Fully Remove and Reseat the Rack
With the washer in a safe idle condition, remove the rack or cart and reinstall it carefully.
Check for:
- Incomplete insertion

4. Inspect the Rack Connection Area

Expected outcome: Rack detection remains stable throughout the cycle. Troubleshooting can stop.
9. Escalate Persistent Detection Problems
If correct rack type, seating, alignment, cleanliness, and known-good comparison have been addressed and detection remains unreliable, stop external troubleshooting.
Expected outcome: The washer or affected rack is removed from service as appropriate.
